Early Girl Hybrid Tomatoes are a great choice for growers with a short season, as their 4- to 5-oz. red fruit matures about 60 days after transplanting. Early Girl tomatoes are also a favorite of home gardeners and fresh-market growers thanks to their flavor and disease resistance. The Early Girl tomato plant will produce delicious fruit throughout the frost-free growing season on its indeterminate vines. To get the healthiest plants and fruit, it's a good idea to support the Early Girl hybrid tomato plant with a trellis, stake, or tomato cage to keep the fruit off the ground and to encourage good airflow.
