60-80 days. Heirloom. Non-GMO. Shishito hot peppers are an East Asian pepper variety known for its slender and wrinkled appearance. A very mild pepper when compared to jalapeño, its smoky flavor is enhanced when grilled or roasted. Awesome grilled in a hot cast iron pan with olive oil, garlic and salt. Almost always harvested when still green, most shishito peppers will be mild but occasionally a few individual peppers will be hotter than the rest. 100-1,000 SHU.
